Steel Impressions Concert – Music for the Soul

On Sunday, April 24, 2016, 2:00 p.m., come to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church to enjoy Steel Impressions, a steel drum band. Steel Impressions performs authentic Caribbean music: calypso, reggae and soca tunes on state-of-the-art steel pans. They also perform various genres of music including: European, classical, rhythm and blues, jazz and contemporary popular tunes on these unique instruments, the steel pans.

Steel Impressions is a steel band featuring Phil Solomon. Solomon founded both the band and Solomon Steelpan Company, which manufactures the drums, in Pittsburgh.
