VBS 2019 – Mission IS Possible

For our second year in a row, we will be offering a inter-generational VBS experience! Good Shepherd Lutheran Church VBS isn’t just for our children, it’s for everyone!

Who? Everyone! Your team can be compromised of your family, a group of friends, or for those brave individuals, you can attempt the mission solo.

How does it work? We will provide you with a biblical reading and highlighted theme of the text. Then we will email you a list of missions. You choose one mission to complete with your team. Then you will present your mission on Sunday August 25th to all other participants.

When must I complete the mission? Anytime from now until Aug 20th. You will present your mission on Sunday August 25th.

What do I have to present? We ask that you present the biblical text and the missions accomplished. But how? You decide!! Be creative with your team. Some suggestions would be making a poster, creating a picture book, acting out a skit, writing a song, etc.

Can my team do more than one reading/mission? Absolutely! This VBS style allows families to stay connected to church throughout the summer despite absences/vacation. However, we ask that you only choose ONE mission to present on August 25th so we have a variety of participating teams.

If you have any questions regarding VBS or would like to participate in more than one mission, please contact the church office.

Mission IS Possible should you choose to accept it! This email will self-destruct in 5 minutes!
