Community Outreach Sewing Project at All of Us Care
Earlier this spring, our Social Ministry team taught the kids at All of Us Care how to sew pencil cases (or notebook covers) using colorful felt, embroidery thread, and buttons. This project gave everyone a chance to practice their fine motor skills while appreciating the benefits of patience and concentration.
Each participant also received a little sewing kit to take home. Thank you to Joan Driscoll and Dottie Talarico (from the Christ Child Society) for their help!
