Pastor Rike’s Sermon

Even in the midst of our sins, we know that steadfast, forgiving love which establishes the kingdom and gets the job done.  We know it through the crucified and risen Christ Jesus, the son of David (Matthew 1:1 and following).  On the cross and in the grave Jesus’ has joined humanity in our exile from God and in the captivity we experience as a result of our sin. His resurrection proves the steadfast love of the LORD has no end. That love is the bond of the Spirit, present among us today, forgiving our sins, drawing us to the kingdom of heaven.
