At the beginning of the day, before lunch, and at the day’s end, we all gathered together in the sanctuary for “Music and More.”

The children divided into two different groups, the “Penguins” (Preschool-Age Children) and the “Polar Bears” (Elementary-Age Children).

Before lunch, Pastor Rike led the children in the “Superman Prayer.”

The children all enjoyed recess free-time after lunch.

Throughout the day, the children played snow-themed games outside, including: pass the hot potato penguin, snowball bowling, snowball bucket tosses, building a snowman out of balloons, and ice cube relay races.

At the end of the day, the children completed three “Projects with a Purpose”: Cleaning GSLC preschool toys (Local – GSLC), Filling Shoeboxes for Santa (National – St. Vincent de Paul), and making fleece tie blankets (International – Lutheran World Relief).

Thank you to everyone who participated in this special day!
