Rally Day Kicks Off Sept 13 with NEW Multigenerational Sunday School Program

New this year, Sunday School will incorporate everyone, young and old, into each lesson. Everyone is encouraged to attend and participate in the weekly celebrations.

Cross Picture Scavenger Hunt

Join us for our first multigenerational challenge. Look around your home and find as many different crosses as you can (how many do you have?).  Take a picture of one cross to share with the congregation and let us know why you like it.  (Does this cross have a special association to you?  Was it a confirmation gift, baptism gift, Family heirloom, etc)

If you do not have a cross in your home, go on a google search to find a cross, research it and then share a screenshot and say why it appealed to you.

Please send all photos to Dee Stathis (stathis92@comcast.net) by Friday September 11 so she can create a photo collage to share with the congregation.

“Let’s Celebrate” Sunday School

We are excited to come back to a new year of Christian Education with our theme of “Let’s celebrate!”.  This year we will have two main options for our preK-5th graders.

Option #1 – Virtual

Emails will be sent out weekly for you to complete during the week.  Please feel free to use this option if you prefer not to attend Sunday school in person, if your child is ill, or if you are out of town.  This will allow us all to stay connected as a church community

Option #2 – In-Person

We will meet immediately following the 9:00 AM service (likely 10-10:45 AM).  Weather permitting, we will meet as a group outside.  When outside we will be social distancing so please feel free to have a chair or towel available for your child to sit on.  If it should be raining, we will meet in the downstairs social hall.  Please always have a mask available for your children as they are required to be worn inside.  You are welcome to stay or leave your child.  Two adults will be on-hand to supervise the children.

Catechism students (6th-8th grade) should have been contacted by Pastor Rike for curriculum and meeting procedures.  If you have not, please contact him for more information.

High School-aged and Adults:  Please stay tuned for information on optional bible study classes

We look forward to having you all participate in Christian Education! If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Kristen Gulakowski (zapatosfemme@hotmail.com).
