Gifts for Passavant Retirement Community
Thank you to everyone who brought in Christmas gifts for our friends at the Passavant Retirement Community. A special thank you goes to Jane Bittcher for coordinating everything. There was quite a collection of boxes and bows, happy givers, grateful recipients, all wrapped up with the special warmth that Christmas brings. The photo features Pastor Musser with Mary Ann Frederick, Passavant employee, who coordinates the gift distribution with Jane Bittcher.

Passavant Retirement Community is a Senior Living Community in Zelienople, PA. Good Shepherd has provided gifts to the residents for more than ten years via Lutheran SeniorLife’s “Gifts of Grace” program.

All Of Us Care
Our ecumenical friends, The Christ Child Society, arranged an afternoon of tree decorating at All Of Us Care on Monday, December 11th. The trees, of course, were gorgeous; but more importantly, the kids had an hour doing something fun and constructive after a busy day of school and homework! Some of the trees became presents for their family members — one child planned to give his tree to his grandma who was stuck in bed with a broken ankle! Thank you to the Christ Child Society for keeping us in the loop. These kids have a way of making our day! ALL OF US CARE is our monthly benevolence for January.
